On January 6, 2017, the employees of PAIS led by its president Caleb Jimenez gathered for a Sales and Operations Planning for the year 2017. The planning tackled more on the improvement of PAIS operational procedures. A discussion on how to achieve sales targets, enhancement of IT solutions and the empowerment of PAIS workforce ensued. The planning was facilitated by PAIS Corporate Consultant, Ms. Michelle Bacolod.
On March 14, 2017, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between Pinoy Ako Insurance Services, Inc. and the Taytay sa Kauswagan (A Microfinance NGO) Inc. at TSKI Main Office in Iloilo City.
APPEND added micro insurance services to its expanding Microenterprise Development programs and have established the Pinoy Ako Insurance Services, Inc. (PAIS) to provide comprehensive, affordable and viable life and non-life micro insurance services.
