PAIS JOINS UPLIFT HEALTH IS WEALTH PROGRAM CARAVAN
One of PAIS partner organizations, UPLIFT Philippines Microfinance Inc. has recently launched a “Health is Wealth Program Caravan” in February to facilitate health awareness of its clients on how to protect themselves and their family from different diseases, to be physically fit and to live a healthy lifestyle.
The program aims to conduct different activities such as the following services:
- Medical Assistance through access to free consultation and free medicines
- Free Dental check-up and tooth extraction
- Free Eye check-up
- Free Hair Cut, massage and other wellness services.
In addition to the said services, PAIS gave atleast 2,500 free bibles through the sponsorship of the Philippine Bible Society. Aside from medical and dental services being offered there will also a search for “UPLIFT ZUMBA Dance Champions” a contest of zumba dance among UPLIFT clients.
The caravan started on September 17, 26 and 27 October 3, 10, 11, 24 and 25, 2019 and will be offering the following medical assistances to more than 2,000 beneficiaries.
