The Taal Volcano in Batangas, Philippines spewed ash some 14 kilometers into the sky on January 12, 2020 which prompted warnings and a possible “hazardous explosive eruption.” In this connection, the government has ordered a force evacuation of tens of thousands of people living near the volcano. In this connection, PAIS extended relief operations to more than 700 beneficiaries affected by the eruption.
