PAIS leaders and staff gathered for a three –day strategic planning held last June 19-21, 2019 at RPMI Guest House in Baguio City. The group revisited and reviewed the output of the organization’s strategic planning which was conducted in 2016 and in 2018 respectively and the actual milestones and achievements of PAIS. In this year's planning, PAIS aimed to formulate strategies and key result areas for the next five years to strengthen the capacity of PAIS enabling it to sustain growth and increase in outreach in providing quality service to its partners and clients.
PAIS would like to thank members of the Board of Directors present during the planning for their guidance, support and hospitality: Ma'am Alma Estolas (RPMI) and Sir Alshaun Angeles (TPKI); and for our facilitator Ma'am Gloria Jimenez (REACH) for facilitation, guidance and inputs and Sir Jun Pedroso (REACH) for documentation.
On March 14, 2017, a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between Pinoy Ako Insurance Services, Inc. and the Taytay sa Kauswagan (A Microfinance NGO) Inc. at TSKI Main Office in Iloilo City.
APPEND added micro insurance services to its expanding Microenterprise Development programs and have established the Pinoy Ako Insurance Services, Inc. (PAIS) to provide comprehensive, affordable and viable life and non-life micro insurance services.
